Admission @ ISP

ISP is open to all Sunni Muslim students who qualify for grades pre-k to 8th.

Students must meet the age creiteria outlined in the admission form

Parent/Guardian's signature on any form implies they will abide by all ISP policies as outlined by the document itself.

Students balances from previous years must be up to date with no balance owing. Parents/Guardians are expected to pay monthly for tuitions and one time for required books/workbooks. No Admission for families with balance due. Families who have been paying unapproved tuitions (less than what they have been communicted to by ISP) will not be allowed to register their kids for next year.

Students and parents must abide by the Islamic Sharia Law according to Ahl Assunah wal Jamaah and All ISP Policies as a condition for admission.

Students must display good character and behavior at ISP and beyond. Use of offensive language, bullying, disrespect to Staff will lead to denial of admission or suspension/termination. ISP asks all parents to suport ISP in disciplning their kids to abide by good Islamic behavior.

ISP has reached full capacity in all grades and so it will give admission priority to families as follows: First priority goes to Fully paying families with no financial aid and who have been involved in supporting ISP programs. Second priority goes to families on financial aid who were paying on time and in full and were involved in their kids education and desciplne. No priority will be given to people owing money to ISP at the time of registration and their kids will not be admitted.

ISP believes in a strong partnership with parents. Thus, ISP expects parent's involvement in ISP activities, help with Homework, disciplne, and support. Parents must read and respond to requests from teachers and principal regarding their kids.

Parents' Responsibilities

Safety: Parents/Guardians MUST drop off and pick up their kids safely. There are two designated areas for drop off: Masjed Assaber parking lot, and the overflow gravel parking lot opposite to Assaber building. No other are designated for drop off or pick up. Violation of these rules may cause a suspention of students and/or termination of ISP services to the family. Saftey is nothing to be easy about. ISP takes student and staff safety very seriously.

Cooperation: To build a good student character, ISP staff expect parents to respond to requests from ISP Staff at once. Ignoring an issue with student will only hurt the student short term or long term and may even hurt other students which is something ISP will not allow to happen. ISP administration may elect to suspend a student until the parents respond to requests. No response will result in terminating services to the student.

Tuition/Fees: ISP elected to make education as affordable to most families as possible. But ISP operation depends solely on getting the tuitions paid on time to pay teachers and utilities. ISP expects all parents to comply with payment amounts and time and will no longer tolerate late payments or less amount paid. ISP students will be suspended until all fees are paid in full and late charge fee. No compenstation for missed time will be offered by ISP staff. ISP asks parents to treat ISP Tuition payment as important as Rent.

ISP PTA: Partnership with parents is key to successful schooling. ISP encourages ALL parents to get involved in enhancing their kids' education. One way is to become a PTA member and voice your opinion but get ready to also help with PTA activities such as bake sales, extracurricular programs, sports programs, after hours toturing, special projects. Do not just ask what the school can do for your kids? Get involved!
